UB Accountancy students bag awards at the 23rd RMYC of NFJPIA-Region 1 and CAR

The University of Baguio (UB) delegates from the School of Business Administration and Accountancy excelled at the 23rd Regional Mid-Year Convention (RMYC) of the NFJPIA-Region 1 and Cordilleras. The event, held at Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza in Baguio City from January 7-9, 2025, brought together over 500 participants from schools across the region. Despite fierce competition, the UB student delegates displayed remarkable talent and determination, earning top rankings in both academic and non-academic events.

University of Baguio Delegates at the 23rd RMYC

The University of Baguio continues to shine as a beacon of excellence in the region. The awards won at the 23rd RMYC are a testament to the hard work and determination of UB-SBAA’s students. Competing against more than 500 participants, UB’s delegation stood out with their outstanding performances. This achievement also aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, showcasing the value of quality education in developing skilled individuals. By providing students with opportunities to compete, develop critical thinking skills, and apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, UB ensures that future professionals are well-equipped to excel in their fields. 

Adding to this achievement, two of UB’s winners, Jim Zara Valenzuela and Keziah Grace Duphanay, will proudly represent the University of Baguio at the 27th National Mid-Year Convention on February 11-14, 2025, at the Acacia Hotel, Bacolod City. Their advancement marks another milestone for UB’s accountancy program.
