The interactive session went above and beyond standard discussions with the inclusion of an engaging icebreaker and the chance to compete for cash prizes courtesy of UB JPIA. UB’s School of Business Administration and Accountancy (SBAA) seamlessly integrated this webinar with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal (UN-SDG) 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.

The recently conducted webinar, “Back to Basics: Bringing it Back to the Basics of Accounting,” not only delved into the foundational principles of accounting but also strengthened the students’ grasp of its fundamental concepts, in line with the university’s core mission. This strategic emphasis on practical application aligns with the university’s commitment to fostering well-equipped professionals for the global stage.

This partnership between 4th year students and UB JPIA had the goal of enhancing accounting principles knowledge while offering UB students useful guidance and techniques that will be essential for their future professional aspirations. With her encouraging words, Ms. Fritzel Diale, President of the UB-JPIA, brought the program to a close.
