SBAA Interns Reflect on Ethical Leadership through an Insightful Webinar

The School of Business Administration and Accountancy (SBAA) orchestrated a transformative online event that brought together students and industry experts with the title “Business Ethics: Cases from the Real World.” The event which unfolded through Zoom platform was facilitated by SBAA alumnus Ian Mher B. Ignacio, now a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), working at the Pangasinan Electric Cooperative (PANELCO) Financial Audit-Internal Audit Department.

The webinar was open to all Business Administration and Accountancy students, especially the SBAA interns, and commenced with a thoughtful introduction of the esteemed speaker. The session seamlessly transitioned into a comprehensive discussion led by Mr. Ignacio, delving into real-world business ethics cases. His expertise provided students with unique insights, enabling them to analyze ethical issues, confront real-world scenarios, and refine critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Following the enriching discussion, participants actively engaged in a dynamic question and answer portion, where they had the opportunity to seek clarification, share perspectives, and further deepen their understanding of ethical considerations in the business realm.

Recognizing the commitment and active participation of the attendees, the webinar moved into the ceremonial awarding of certificates. This not only acknowledged the dedication of the participants but also served as a testament to their pursuit of ethical leadership.
