UB Brings Travel and Business Consultancy Services to the Baguio Community

The University of Baguio Research Innovation Extension and Community Outreach (RIECO) Office in collaboration with partner schools and offices set up shop at Malcolm Square on February 22, 2024 to offer free travel and business consultancy services to the Baguio community.

From passport and visa assistance to business and taxation consultancy, the event offered a wide range of free services geared toward helping residents with their travel plans and business ventures. The hardworking students, faculty, and non-teaching staff all worked tirelessly to assist everyone who came through, offering their expertise in their field of practice and ensuring that the residents were able to make the most of the services being offered.

The consultancy services event was held with the cooperation of the School of Business Administration and Accountancy (SBAA), the School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (SIHTM), the Human Resource Management Center (HRMC), and the Finance Department. Through the combined efforts of the offices and school departments involved, the university managed to serve the community and render integral services to those in need of them.

The Travel and Business Consultancy Services program is only the first in a series of cluster events being organized by the RIECO Office. These events are held in commemoration of the university’s 75th founding anniversary, highlighting UB’s efforts to serve the community through outreach and extension. Alongside other school departments and offices, the RIECO Office plans to continue making essential services accessible to the general public through more events in the coming months.
